  1. There are several films on this list that I still need to see (I live Korea and don’t get Western films all the time.) but I’m suprised to not see Dark Knight Rises. Also, I think films like End of Watch or Lawless deserve to be up there. I think End of Watch and Lawless really brought out some great acting from the actors.

  2. A lot of mainstream films, but still a decent list. My biggest disappointment however was “Moonrise Kingdom”. Best film of the year for me (and I don’t see it in your list, surprisingly) was definitely “Jagten” (“The Hunt”).
